Edie Lou Studio is an independent, contemporary fashion studio focused on identity, craftsmanship, and conceptual clarity. Rooted in thoughtful design and long-term vision, we work across garments, visual language, and storytelling to build a cohesive and authentic brand experience. Our collections are driven by concept and process - every garment begins with a story, evolving through research, material experimentation, and intentional design.

Through both ELS and our editorial platform PULP, we explore fashion as a form of cultural dialogue - merging aesthetics, ethics, and expression. Together, they form the foundation of a studio practice that values authenticity, creativity, and process-driven exploration.

We offer opportunities to engage with the full arc of creative development - from early design phases and collection coordination to branding, communication and storytelling.

Whether you’re working with garments, visuals, or storytelling, we look for people who bring creativity, openness, and the drive to learn. If you align with our values and want to contribute to the process, don´t hesitate to apply. This is the place where we share current and future opportunities. No role is open, no worries, we very welcome unsolicited applications too.

Work With Us

  • Edie Lou Studio (ELS) is a contemporary fashion brand rooted in conceptual clarity, timeless aesthetics, and a gender-fluid design ethos. Alongside our visual platform PULP, which explores fashion, art and culture through written storytelling, we offer a unique environment where design, communication, and identity are treated as one interconnected narrative.

We are offering a hands-on, skill-growing internship for current - or future - fashion students who wish to deepen their understanding of collection development - from the first sketch to the final product.

    What You Will Learn

•Collection Development: Participate in the creation of two parallel lines: a conceptual runway collection and a commercially viable product line. Learn how to translate ideas into physical garments through structure, silhouette, and material experimentation.

•Sewing & Atelier Work: Gain practical, in-studio experience with construction, fittings, finishing techniques, and fabric handling. Understand how luxury garments are developed and refined through trial, detail, and precision.

•Design Research: Contribute to the creation of mood boards, explore material options, and support the aesthetic and conceptual development of the brand´ s vision.

•Marketing & Branding Insights: Get an introduction to the brand-building process and how creative concepts are translated into identity and communication. You will gain awareness of content planning, visual storytelling, and the role of strategic marketing in the fashion industry.

•Collection Coordination: Support the early-stage development of the collection, from interpreting the design brief to helping with material lists and tech pack prep. Learn how a cohesive collection is built and organized - from concept to sample - while gaining insight into studios workflows and timelines.

    Who You Are

•Preferably Currently Enrolled Student: You are enrolled in a fashion or related program at the university or other institutions and able to participate in an internship as part of your curriculum, or have recently finished high-school and are excited to start your journey in that direction.

•Creative & Detail-Oriented: You bring curiosity, precision, and a love for fashion and well-crafted garments. Basic sewing skills and design understanding are required.

•Open & Collaborative: You are comfortable working in a small, creative team where experimentation and dialogue are encouraged.

Language: Working language is English. German is a plus.
